Governance

This is a personally operated public-interest checking service. It is not a government agency, financial institution or law-enforcement body.

Operator and accountability

The service is signed with the stable alias "CheckAny Public-Interest Maintainer". The operator does not publish a legal name.

Instead of asking users to trust an identity, this service relies on a public method, verifiable sources and public correction records.

  • Contact: [email protected]
  • The service currently accepts no donations, sponsorship, advertising or funding of any kind.
  • If the funding policy changes, source licensing and conflicts of interest will be reviewed first.

How results are produced

Results are calculated by a fixed-weight rule engine. AI does not participate in the conclusion and cannot directly change scores or labels.

Every conclusion must cite a public source and show a source link. A report is a risk assessment, not a legal finding about a website operator.

  • Official lists, regulator notices and registry records are stored as separate evidence.
  • The method and weight table are public so anyone can recalculate a result from the same sources.
  • No record does not mean a site is safe. New suspicious URLs may not appear in official lists yet.

Corrections

If a source changes, a report cites the wrong source, or you manage an affected website, contact us for a correction or appeal.

The first human response target is within 72 hours. Urgent cases involving active payment, account compromise or many affected users may be prioritized, but immediate completion is not promised.
